This delightful trio of small birds, created by Jan Kirsh Studio in Maryland, USA, is designed to reflect a mix of elegance and a primitive spirit, as noted on The Jan Kirsh Studio Website. Each bird displays its own distinct movements. My goal was to adopt an abstract approach, blending in a fresh, almost childlike interpretation of this universal form.

This set of three songbirds – ‘Dip’, ‘Stretch’, and ‘Wonder’ – fits comfortably in your hand or can easily be placed on your desk.

Crafted from bonded marble and finished with black acrylic paint, each bird measures 3” x 2” x 4” and is in excellent condition for display.
